You also now have access to software for your computer that allows you to put together 3D looking blueprints so you can actually see what your new home will look like before the construction phase. That gives you an opportunity to see if there's something you like, something you hate, something that needs works, etc., before a construction crew member hammers in the first nail. Putting a stop to the building being constructed is much more manageable during the early stages than say, halfway through.

Building a home today is much simpler than it was in year's past but there will always be one thing that will never change; you still need a hammer and nails.
